Arena designs and builds the structures behind some of the world’s most prestigious events including The King’s Coronation, The Ryder Cup and Cheltenham Festival.
In 2023, LDR Media was commissioned to create Arena’s flagship film for The Open Championship. Built around their brand line, “Breathing life into space,” we crafted a concept that reflected the prestige of the event, pairing cinematic visuals with Sir John Betjeman’s Seaside Golf as the voiceover.
We filmed Hoylake in stillness before the crowds arrived, then followed Kiwi golfer Ryan Fox on course to capture the transformation. Working closely with The Open’s brand team, we aligned both identities to deliver a powerful, unified final film.
