Beama - Manufacturing Net zero
Manufacturing Net Zero was the key lobbying campaign run by Beama, the trade association that represents the energy sector in late 2023 and early 2024. This was in direct response to the UK government changing targets for manufacturers to hit net zero and the uncertainty this had created in the market.
We managed to fit in six days filming in 6 locations across the UK in just 2 weeks. Locations ranged from Manchester and Leeds down as far south as Hastings in Sussex. The shoots were based at 6 member companies of Beama that all produced different elements for the market. Challenging logistically but a brilliant team effort shooting on 5 different cameras to capture key interviews, hours of b-roll and still images for the campaign.
The LDR media post-production team worked to a tight deadline of just 2 weeks to deliver the triler for the campaign which was played live at a conference with government ministers. This was followed 2 weeks later by the hero edit that continue to be used today. As well as producing those 2 main videos we have built a library of b-roll and stills for Beama to use across future campaigns as well as capturing footage that can be re-purposed in order to gain maximum value for our client.
